Who we are
JoinBeUs Lda, a company registered in Portugal. We make a language-learning product. These terms govern your use of it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure. Don't share it. If you suspect it has been compromised, tell us at security@joinbeus.com and we will help you secure it.
What we promise
To run the service to the best of our ability. To not lose your data. To be honest about outages, bugs, and roadmap.
What you promise
To not abuse the service — no scraping, no automated mass-account creation, no using the dialogues outside JoinBeUs without permission. The recordings are licensed from real people; please respect them.
Money
During early access, JoinBeUs is free. When we introduce paid plans, you will know in advance. We will not surprise-charge you.
If we mess up
If the service is broken for an extended period, we will refund or extend your subscription. We are not liable for indirect damages — but we will always try to do right by you.
Ending the relationship
You can close your account any time, from settings. We will delete your data within 30 days. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service; you will be told why and given a chance to respond.
Where this lives
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes go to the courts of Lisbon, unless you are a consumer in another EU country, in which case your local consumer-protection rights apply.
